When the ceiling is dripping, you do not need a sales pitch. You need a tarp, professionally installed, before the next band of rain.

How it works

  • Call (424) 624-7020. A real human answers. Always.
  • We dispatch the nearest crew — usually on site within 90 minutes.
  • Property protection set, leak source identified, heavy-duty tarp properly battened.
  • Interior moisture reading taken so you know whether drywall needs attention.
  • Written report in your inbox the same day.

What it costs

Every emergency is different — size of the affected area, time of day, and access all matter. Free for active maintenance-plan customers on Standard and Premium tiers. For everyone else, call (424) 624-7020 and we will quote it before the crew is dispatched.

Any tarp fee is credited against a permanent repair we perform within 30 days.

24/7 emergency roof response across Los Angeles

We dispatch emergency tarp and repair crews anywhere in LA County, 24/7, 365. Westside addresses (Santa Monica, Brentwood, Palisades, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Venice) see 30–60 minute response; Valley, Eastside, and South Bay addresses typically 60–120 minutes depending on traffic and weather. During major storm events we increase crew rotation and pre-position tarps at key staging points.

Common LA emergencies we respond to

Atmospheric-river rain events (December–March). A 48-hour rain event that drops 4+ inches overwhelms any roof with deferred maintenance. We field 40–60 emergency calls in a single event during heavy storm weeks.

Santa Ana wind damage (October–January). 60–80 mph gusts strip tile, crack ridge, and peel asphalt. Canyon and hillside homes see the worst of this — Topanga, Mandeville, Bel Air, Beachwood, Hollywood Hills.

Fallen tree or branch impact. LA's drought-stressed eucalyptus, ficus, and pine regularly drop large limbs. Immediate tarping contains damage; structural assessment follows.

Fire / wildfire damage. Post-Red-Flag events in Topanga, Malibu, Palisades, Brentwood. Even homes that survive direct burn often have ember damage that becomes a leak source.

HVAC unit failure / penetration leak. A failed AC condensate line or cracked curb flashing will pour water into the attic in minutes. Common on flat-roof buildings across LA.

Vandalism, accidents, unknown causes. Whatever it is, we will tarp first and ask questions second. Insurance documentation happens in parallel.

What to do while waiting for us

  1. Protect the interior. Move electronics, rugs, and artwork out from under the leak. Put a bucket where water is landing.
  2. Punch the drywall. If water is bulging a ceiling, puncture the lowest point with a pencil to release it gradually — an uncontrolled collapse does far more damage.
  3. Photograph everything. From outside (if safe), from the attic, and every wet spot inside. Timestamps matter for the claim.
  4. Do not climb the roof. Wet tile, wet shingle, and wet membrane are all slip hazards. We have the harnesses.
  5. Call your insurer. Opening a claim early preserves your position. We will coordinate directly with the adjuster once the tarp is up.

Frequently asked: LA emergency roof repair

How fast can you arrive during a major storm?

Normal conditions: 45–90 minutes to most of LA County. Major storm conditions (simultaneous 100+ calls countywide): we triage by severity and typical response extends to 2–4 hours. We call you with an ETA either way.

What does an emergency tarp cost in LA?

Varies with roof area tarped, time of day, access, and weather. Standard residential calls run from a few hundred dollars into the low thousands for complex multi-area tarping. Free for active maintenance-plan customers on Standard and Premium tiers. Tarp fee credits against a permanent repair performed within 30 days.

Will my insurance pay for the emergency service?

In almost all cases, yes — most homeowner policies explicitly cover emergency mitigation as part of the loss. We document for the adjuster automatically and often coordinate direct billing. Tell us your carrier when you call.

Can a tarp last through an entire storm?

Our tarps are 14-mil heavy-duty and battened with lath — they are designed to survive multi-day storm events. We check back after major rain to confirm they are still holding.

Do you handle commercial emergencies?

Yes — flat-roof commercial emergencies are a specialty. Call (424) 624-7020 and we will dispatch the appropriate crew and equipment.
